Women In Existentialism: Bailey Constas Featured In Omnihum x Las Damas Group Show

I’m proud to be part of the Women in Existentialism group show at Omnihum in Taos, put together in partnership with Las Damas—a New Mexico women’s artist collective.

The powerful exhibition explores the theme of existentialism through the lens of women’s creative voices. Existentialism emphasizes the deeply personal nature of human experience and celebrates the freedom and autonomy of the individual.

My chosen piece, “Empress of the Earth,” is painted with handmade watercolors I created from natural pigments including madder root, indigo, elm tree, charcoal from my fireplace, and clay from New Mexico and Colorado.

On view January 31 - March 22, 2026
