After mixing my indigo watercolor paint with a muller, a sacred pattern reveals itself as I pull the muller from the glass palette. Each one is just a little different, but always reflecting the sacred geometry of gravity: lightning, roots, placenta veins, lung veins.

I marble each piece of paper using the ancient Japanese marbling method, Suminagashi. I use ink created by my used pen and printer cartridges—a byproduct of my art process. Each page is one-of-a-kind and can never be reproduced.
Once the paper is cut, I then bind the 60-pages and a heavy-paper cover using the traditional coptic stitch. Available in red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink.

Watercolor Paint
Watercolors handmade with foraged or cultivated plants and soil. Made into pigment, then mixed with gum arabic, honey, vegetable glycerin, and clove oil.
Dried in bioplastic watercolor half pans, inserted in an aluminum case, and with a tiny wooden brush!
