“The Impending” shows a rounded storm cloud above a mountain range at sunset. It’s that feeling between hope and despair. Unknowing but certain a change is coming.

I can hear the sound of crashing waves when I look at this painting. It embodies the carefree, sleepy, restful feeling when sunbathing on the beach at Rockaway Beach in Queens, NY.
